Terms of Service

Brixels is a website-building platform for tradespeople, operated by Alaxu Limited. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate trade business to use Brixels. By accepting these Terms you represent that you meet these requirements.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@brixels.tech if you suspect unauthorised access.

The service

Brixels generates a trade website based on the information you provide. We use AI to produce copy and select imagery; the result is a functional website hosted on our infrastructure. You may publish your website to a custom domain or a Brixels-provided subdomain.

We reserve the right to update, modify or discontinue features of the service at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes.

Acceptable use

You must not use Brixels to:

  • Publish false, misleading or fraudulent business information.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Upload content that is illegal, defamatory or harmful.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from our platform.

Your content

You retain ownership of the business information, photos and other content you upload (“Your Content”). By uploading content you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process it solely to provide the service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring Your Content is accurate and that you have the right to use it, including any photos or trademarks.

AI-generated content

Brixels uses AI to generate website copy and select imagery based on your brief. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content. You should review and approve your website before publishing, and you take responsibility for the published content once it goes live.

Intellectual property

All intellectual property in the Brixels platform — our software, design system and branding — is owned by Alaxu Limited or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right in our intellectual property beyond what is needed to use the service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alaxu Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of Brixels, including loss of revenue, profits or business opportunities.

Our total aggregate liability to you will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of Brixels after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
